National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS)
Mohd Mahyidin MUSTAKIM was appointed as the Director General of the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (FINAS) in 2006 by the Minister of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage of Malaysia based on his wide experience, exposure and active involvement in the Malaysian film industry. He was an Executive Producer with a well-known film production company Pesona Pictures where he successfully produced a number of popular feature films. He is also well-known amongst the Malaysian film fraternity and was for a period the Secretary of the Malaysian Film Festival (2007 & 2008), the Co-Chairman for the 1st Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival (2007), Executive Secretary of the 50th Asia Pacific Film Festival (2005) held in Kuala Lumpur and he is a member of the Appeals Committee of the Film Censorship Board.
