Celebrated Hong Kong director and Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild, Gordon CHAN is the helmer of box office successes such as King of Beggars (1992) and Thunderbolt (1995), and the award-winning Beast Cops (1998), which won him the Best Director award at the Hong Kong Film Awards (1999). CHAN has been nominated internationally for his work in directing as well as scriptwriting, the most recent of which is for A1 Headline (2004).
